Friday, May 11, 2012. My one-year-old does not discriminate based on gender, race, or appearances- no matter how outlandish a person looks. If someone smiles at him, he simply smiles in return. Onlookers smile, some will even say hello in response to his effervescent greeting. My cute, innocent son has yet to grasp this concept. Through his eyes, every stranger is a potential friend. As he pleasantly smiles at pedestrians, ever.
